Yup. I have the straightest hair ever and it was really nice when people complimented me on my hair. But we always want what we don't have so I curl my hair everyday. Now and then I do leave it straight and people ask me if I use a straightening iron for my hair and I say no, only to curl it. :) Straight hair rocks, curly hair rocks, wavy hair rocks...all hair or no hair rocks too! :)

Oh god i used to have the SAME problem

But, now my hair has more of a wave to it and im much happier, all i did was =

- Get a few layers in my hair, it made it a bit lighter and wavier [and thicker, cos it used to be really thin]

- i scrunch my hair after ive had a shower and when its dry it has a nice wave to it

Never. I'd say I spend a good 5% of my life getting my hair poker straight. Why don't you go get it cut in a more choppy way or something..that makes it look fuller or more wavy. Ask the hairdresser for advice.

Yeah, I'm fed up with my straight hair sometimes too, but I've accepted it...just think of all the people who straighten their hair for half an hour to have what we've got naturally, only to step out in the rain and have it bounce back into curls!

Actually I have straight hair and I luv it because i can do anything I want to it. You should luv how u r made and also just have fun with it. If u want some change than just curl it or something. The possibilities r endless.

Yeah. I love it some times but the fact that I can't do anything to it other than have it straight is really annoying.

yes i do and if i curl my hair it falls out despire all the diff hair spray products i try and such. i don't want to walk around with crunchy stiff hair you know?

however crimping irons, braiding damp hair at night and taking it out in the morning (or twisting damp hair into a bun creates loose waves that curl at the end). Also a triple barrel iron is your best friend and gives you a beyonce, shakira like look.

I want wavy hair terribly bad. If you use a curling iron without the clamp, you can wrap your hair around the iron, hold it for a bit, and then bring it down, it's like a surfer-ish wave.

Just a suggestion if you might want to try something different.

i love my hair straight. when it was all one length though it was very boring. getting your hair razor cut allows a lot of texture and styling options ...also makes it easier to throw a little wave in there every once in a while. razor cuts are great for short and long hair. add a little texture paste and vola your one hot mama. lol

I did once so I got a curly perm....a BAD curly perm! I immediately wished I had my straight hair back (which took ages to grow) and have never been tempted to change it again!!!

YESSS i have the same problem a few days ago!!!!......but now i curl my hair and everyone compliments,!!! so curl your hair or crimp it. and i also guys like it when you do a different style with your hair everyday they say " its hott or cute"..... GOOD LUCK!!

i have extremely straight hair. i have noticed some things that help it to have volume, shape, and texture. Buy a shampoo and conditionar specifically made to add volume and shape to your hair. If you blow dry your hair make sure you don't use your brush while you blow dry it. Just brush through your hair with your fingers. Once its dry part it how you desire and spray your hands with a wax spray. Do not spray your hair directly with it because it will cause your hair to become oily and resulting in flatness. Rub the wax in your hands and scrunch it through your hair. Scrunch your hair upwards expecially at the layers, this causes depth and texture. Also when you get your hair cut ask the stylist to use a razor when putting layers in. A razor adds much texture to your hair and looks amazing.

I felt like that. I had a perm. My answer - don't have it permed. My perm is the worst. It was expensive too. I am so disappointed. I have to wash it every day and use special conditions to keep it looking anything like decent. It is one frizzy mop.

Try just using rollers in yours. You can have the benefit of curly or straight hair then. (boycott perms)
