How can i get my curls to be volumized?

I can get my hair to be curly n what not but it never turns out to be mega-volumized, how would you go about doing this? If you've ever seen making the band 3, i LOVE aundrea's hair.....its so full and curly....thats what im aiming for

How can i get my curls to be volumized?

there are a few steps:

start with a volumizing foam and apply just to the root area (suave professionals volumizing foam at drugstores, $2)

then, depending on how long your hair is, apply a small amount of non-stiff gel (about the size of a quarter, rub hands together, add a little water if desired so it's not too thick)

dry your hair with a curl diffuser (the round kind with teeth) on med heat and med speed. do this until completely dry.

take a flexible pump hairspray and apply a little in the places you want extra volume (example: by the roots) and right after you apply the hairspray, take your blow dryer with the diffuser on the end on low speed and gently lift up the hair where the spray was.

*tip: you can do this last step on the underneith of your hair too, or lift up a top layer and spray. this gets extra body. just be careful not to use too much hairspray or it will be too crunchy!

I suggest using a sit- under dryer and using rollers.

Try Tigi catwalk root boost or their bedhead products especially the blow dry lotion.
