So I'm in marching band, and I need a hairstyle

One that makes your hair go inside your hat without giving me a headache.

Any ideas?

My daughter's Jr. High marching band has a rule that everyone, male %26amp; female, with shoulder length or longer hair must pull it back in a pony tail. And I know the local High School marching band is the same way. They want everyone to look clean and uniformed (shoes, shirts, slacks, socks, hair, etc.).

Either a ponytail, pigtails, braids, and french braids usually work. As long as the rubber band isn't pressing up against your scalp due to the shako, it should be fine.
