I'm having issues thinking about a movie; it was about a girl who goes into a magical world [i'm not sure how or what she was supose to do]

anyways, there was a wizard guy who looked like he belonged in a 80s hair band =]

It was spikey and blonde and he dressed somewhat weird and stuff XD

He sings I remember nearing the end and there's little monsters helping the girl and a maze of those stairs that go every which way
