you are not "emo" example, i have been called an emo guy because i do have black hair. i wear a lot of band shirts and slim fit jeans. i listen to a lot of heavy music, metal, thrash and even the emo style music. however i am always happy, i dont cut my wrists, i dont think my dad hates me, im nto mad at the world and i dont think everyone is out to get me. i am the exact opposite of emo. but i do have the style. so here is the question, what is wrong with dressing that way? is there any real reason why people dont like it?

There's nothing wrong with dressing in the style that you like.

Just remember, though, that certain stereotypes are associated with certain styles and when you wear it, people will make assumptions. Hopefully, they'll get to know you better first, but there's not always time for that.

well there is nothing wrong with dressing like an emo. it is your way of dressing. the thing is that people will say anything without any reason. some already hate emo and they see you dressing like that, then you automatically become an emo. they dont know better.
