I wan't my band to look like a 80's hair band more along the lines of when Motley Crue looked tough or Iron Maiden any suggestions on where I can get tips for this look or places to find stuff to look like this? any thing would be helpful

Rip up some t-shirts, get some leather pants, platform boots (expensive but essential) and plenty of Aqua net. Just look at some pic of the bands and visit your local thrift store, you will be able to find plenty of 80s stuff there!
