One hit wonder?

I cant remember the name of the group or the song. so any answers are welcome. The band and song that I am looking for was between the years of 2000-2004. The song had a late 80's early 90"s big hair band sound to it. The song was upbeat and fun. I am pretty sure this was the onyl hit they had. like i said before any ansers will help. thanks alot.

i think i know who your talking about but i can't remember there name either i only remember the lead singer reminded me of the lead singer from led zepp. the video had them standing in front of huge amps or something

Bon Jovi is one of the surviving hair bands of the 80s....not many survived.

The reason there are one hit wonders is money. In order to release a single and get it played on commercial radio, to produce a charted hit, the record company needs to hire a radio promoter and it is very expensive. Only big record companies with lots of money can afford to do it. And, they typically only do it when they feel the band's song will be a surefire hit....that is, it must sound very commercial and be like 3 minutes.

That is why most of the music that is produced and released goes to FM college stations and is not even charted. College radio bands don't make it to the Grammies though....it takes money to make money.
