What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

Personally, I love his music. Sure I only have the Don't Say No album, but I think that album is pretty much perfect. People may know Billy because of The Stroke, or because he was in Guitar Hero, but there was a lot more to him that that.

Besides the hits, he had some really awesome songs. Nobody Knows is a beautiful ballad that shows that Billy could slow down too. Billy's band also rocked. My Kinda Lover and I Need You have some awesome bass parts. In my opinion Billy doesn't get nearly enough credit as he deserves. People write him off as another washed up 80's star, but the music is a lot better than all the other hair bands. Billy is leagues ahead of Winger, Warrant etc.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

I was fortunate to be around during the height of his popularity. My opinion of him remains unchanged. He is vastly underrated. Squier had a number of awesome songs during the 80's, several you've already mentioned. It's not really fair to call him a washed up 80's star since he quit the music industry on his own terms back in 1993. Apparently, he was frustrated by his label's lack of support and moved on to pursue other career interests.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

I don't enjoy him at all really. But my opinion.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

several good songs, everybody wants you, stroke, My kinda lover, and lonely is the night. He had some great songs that still sound good today.................

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

Billy is one of the the best. I love all his songs.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

Gosh I loved his songs from the 80's!! We had a dj here who played "everybody wants you" about 20 times straight on the radio. I think he was fired for it. It was funny to hear all that going on the radio though. They were beating on the doors!

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

i totally agree. in fact, last week i asked 'who else has lonely is the night stuck in their head'.

billy is one hell of a songwriter and a good vocalist at that. i'd love to meet him and jam with him! nice guy, im sure.

dont say no was an amazing record, one that i still listen to to this day.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

i love his music but every time i see him flit around like a big girl on stage i have to turn the channel...he was so feminine it was sad...the only time i saw anything more feminine was when the singer from Extreme sang lead for Van Halen....I will never look at Panama the same again!!!!!

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

The dumba$$ radio stations don`t play his music as much as they should.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

billy squier rocks.. ihave dont say no, and his greatest hits called 16 strokes..he has always been one of my favorites..in the dark is my favorite song...also others songs.

emotions in motion

rock me tonight

everybody wants you

eye on you

billy rocks

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

He's one of my favorites from the 80's and I have ALL his albums.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

A good songwriter with a great band. I never owned any of his albums, but enjoyed his radio hits with the possible exception of Rock Me Tonight. I think the video for that song was a turning point that hurt his credibility with hard rock fans at the time. That whole stomp/pout/wrap arms around self dance bit was hard to watch...just my opinion! I still think he rocked overall!

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

The guy flat out ROCKS is My opinion

And I only own "Don't Say No" and "Emotions In Motion"

I consider Don't Say No to be one of the best Guitar albums of the 80's. I won't give a list but instead just say Don't Say No is one of the few albums around without a bad song on it.

My fave Billy Squier song though is "Lonely Is The Night" which when I was Young and it first came out, I thought it was Zeppelin.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

Billy Squier had a stroke?!

Just yankin your chain. "Don't Say No" was pretty much the soundtrack for my summer in 1981.

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?

I used to listen to him all the time in the 80's.

Recently just got his dvd Live In The Dark from 1982 - awesome performance!

What is your opinion on Billy Squier?
